【传译感通】
传译者,谓西天传至东土,译彼梵语,成此华言也。盖此经前后凡二译。一晋义熙十四年,北天竺僧佛度跋陀罗,于扬州谢司空寺,译梵本为三万六千偈,成六十卷。一唐证圣元年,于阗国僧实叉难陀,于东都佛授记寺,再译旧文,兼补诸阙,增益九千偈,共前四万五千偈,成八十卷。即今流传者是也。感通者,佛度跋陀罗译经之时,感龙王遣二青衣童子,每日从池而出,以给瓶砚之水。实叉难陀译经之时,感天降甘露,征应良多,备载传记也。(梵语佛度跋陀罗,华言觉贤。梵语实叉难陀,华言喜学也。)
