This study is an attempt to investigate the learning results by monitoring the learning process of 88 English Majors listening course.

As a relatively new course for English majors,listening course is faced up with problems in compiling coursebook,which cause the poor efficiency of the course.

This thesis set English listening course for English major as an example,analyzes how to let college education echo the new trend of the era and combine the visual element with listening element together.

To prompt a new experience for English listening and speaking course,the virtual English study community achieves a high motivation and interaction in class based on computer science and virtual spaces,and attempts to overcome the current limitations in our English listening and speaking course.

This paper proposes the integration of listening and speaking courses for business English at vocational colleges under IT(information technology) from the following aspects as teaching materials,teachers and teaching environment.

The paper introduces some efficient ways to develop student′s ability to do listening comprehension ,and speak English,such as making an interest,having a good listening class,students′ joining and combining listening with speaking etc.

On the basis of a survey about some students learning situation of listening, the article concludes the problems on students study in listening class.

In order to satisfy the need of these requirements, training the ability of listening and speaking in listening class is very important.
