Through measuring and analyzing spring shoot nutrient content of Phyllostachypubesens of nine provenances,the results showed that their nutrient contents were varied invarious provenances,the nutrient of spring shoot from Wuhan of Hubei Province was higherin amino acid,starch,reduction sugar content,but that from Huoshan of Anhui Province waslower,and that from others were middle.
