由于保密工资是企业主与员工共同协商确定的，双方都愿意接受，一般都比较满意，有利于调动员工的积极性，激励作用大。但是，实行保密工资制，也容易造成员工之间的相互猜疑，引起矛盾和摩擦，容易出现同工不同酬的现象，并且不利于工人组织工会，保障工人的整体利益。这种工资制度在市场经济国家一些企业中实行，中国经济特区的一些合资企业也采用保密工资制。保密工资制对雇员的工资收入保密的一种工资制度。由企业主根据操作技术复杂及熟练程度与雇员当面协商确定，其工资的高低取决于劳动力市场供求和企业的经营状况。企业效益好，或劳动力市场上某种熟练工种短缺，则工资收入就会相对高些;反之则低。如果雇员对所得工资不满意，可与雇主协商，要求提高支付的工资额。企业主如果接受，双方可履行新达成的工资标准。实行保密工资制后，厂方和员工都必须共同保密，不得向外泄密，违背协议。实行保密工资制，可以避免企业内部职工相互攀比，减少不必要的矛盾.减少企业经营者在工资问题上耗费的精力;同时，
