石元仕
石元仕（1849－1919）字次卿，是天津杨柳青石家大院的最后一位主人,把石家发展到顶峰,为列“津门八大家”之一。 1894年甲午战争时，在杨柳青镇首创地主团体。1900年八国联军入侵天津后，倡议设立支应局，又成立保甲局，维护地方治安。清廷表彰其维护地方平安授给四品卿衔湖北试用道，后经慈禧太后召见,光绪皇帝钦加三品衔,赏戴花翎。1906年清廷立宪诏下，自治议起，石元仕出任天津县议会议员及副议长，后又充任镇议会议长。曾倡办教育，出资办学校。石元仕虽为大地主,但为人较善良,在当地百姓中威信很高,人称为“石善人”。
