甘良仕 男，1935年4月生，湖北省咸宁市人。湖北工学院基础课部教授。共产党员。1960年毕业于华中师范大学数学系，分配宜昌师范专科学校任教，后调入湖北工学院任教，曾任宜昌师范专科学校数学系副主任，湖北工学院数学教研室党支部书记、教研室副主任、宜昌数学会理事等职。从教三十九年，讲授高等代数、近古代数、数论、矩阵理论、离散数学、高等数学和工程数学等大学专科、本科和研究生课程。治学严谨，教学经验丰富，善于将教学与培养学生能力融为一体。常用 “胸怀目标，锲而不舍，孜孜探索，必有成日”来诲人律已。在完成繁重的教学、行政工作同时，在组合数学、代数学、教法论等领域中，获得较多的研究成果，提出图色数的新算法和着色问题与组合计算等相结合的研究途径；围绕能力培养开展了系列教学研究工作，提出系列有效教法，等等。发表论文20 余编，许多论文被《中国数学文摘》等刊物收录、转载。编著了《初等数论及应用》、《大学数学学习导引》、《抽象代数基础》、《高等数学基础》等七部著作。因成绩突出，多次被评为优秀教师、优秀党员、先进教育工作者，获优秀教学成果奖、科研奖、最新科技论文奖等，《湖北工学院报》曾以《教学诲人不倦，学术孜孜以求的甘良仕教授》为题发表专题报导，向院内外交流学习。
