In this study,an investigation was conducted to prove whether the English-like Chinese passive voice in the writing of Chinese EFL learners is the result of English to Chinese backward transfer,and how backward transfer in general may relate to the Chinese learners\' L2 English proficiency and L1 Chinese proficiency in sentence and discourse tasks.

A formal description of a new authorization policy, the task-based authorization, is presented in this paper.

The present study is designed to explore the relationship between types of task-based writing and linguistic features, to investigate the relationship between linguistic features and quality of second language writing, and to attempt to provide some tentative explanations for these different linguistic features and linguistic feature distribution in different types of task-based writing.
