The study uses the method of measurement to analyze the pre-competitive anxiety of athletes with different personality;the somatic A-state of athletes has more effect on athletes′potentials to be brought into full play than the cognitive A-states during the competitions.

Statistical results provided evidence:(a)these students E nglish anxiety index was very high,and the higher their anxiety,the lower their achievements in English learning;(b)their anxiety came mainly from communic ation apprehension ;(c)males anxiety was higher than the females,the good learners anxiety is lower than the poors,and there was no signific.

Results ①The anxiety index before anesthesia was not related with the pat.
