《镜花缘》

    中国清代长篇小说 。作者李汝珍,字松石 ,直隶大兴(今属北京市)人。全书100回,以秀才唐敖、林之洋、多九公3人出海游历各国及唐敖之女小山寻父的故事为线索,描写了几十个国家的独特风光,奇风异俗,野草仙花,奇人异事。作者基于《山海经》等书的材料,发挥了丰富的想象力,使这部小说容量庞大,景象繁杂,结构独特,思想新颖。作品颂扬了女性的聪明才智,肯定女子在社会中的重要位置。作者让“女儿国”中的男人穿裙治家,女人穿靴治国,显示出追求男女平等的心愿。出于对封建官场贪婪专横、尔虞我诈的不满,创造出一个“君子国”,刻意描绘出一个官民平等、礼尚往来的理想化社会。作者以辛辣讽刺的手法揭露了表面满腹学识、实则不学无术,假斯文真吝啬的“白民国”、“淑士国”的儒林。还活灵活现地给各种品行恶劣的人画了像,“犬封国”、“豕喙国”、“无肠国”等,皆极尽讽刺挖苦之能事。作者运用了夸张、比喻、衬托、对比、对照、借代等多种手法,引人入胜。但小说刻画人物的性格较差,在描写德才兼备的女性时只偏重于各种知识的炫耀,人物形象性不足。尤其后半部累赘冗,失去了小说应有的魅力。
