Haocao gong and drum is the labor folk song unique in Tujia people of Wuling area and it forms the song cycle consistent with the labor time of the day,which mainly consists of Getou,qingshen,Yangge and Songshen with colorful music forms,genres,arias and tones;song words are divided into fixed and impromptu words and its content aims to improve labor enthusiasm and labor efficiency.
