阅读指导法的运用，一般要求：充分发挥教科书的作用，通过多种方式指导学生阅读教科书，如布置预习、复习，根据教科书答问，编写阅读提纲等；指导学生精读与略读结合,读思结合,掌握阅读方法,养成朗读、默读和速读等独立阅读能力和习惯,并学会寻找参考资料、利用图书馆和使用各种工具书，以及养成写读书笔记的习惯；引导学生课外阅读，帮助选择书籍、制订阅读计划，广泛涉猎，扩大知识领域，并组织读书经验交流，总结阅读经验，提高阅读效果。
