追求自然真实的照明方法，是当代电影、电视影摄影用光的新观念，电影彩色胶片感光度的提高，大光孔的镜头的出现，是纪实性照明的物资条件，纪实光效的特点是；强调光源的单一性，尽量采用现场的固有光和自然光，少用人工光；多用散射光采用低照度照明；强调光源要有依据，不赞同使用假定光源，色彩柔和质感强画面造型真实自然。
