性质:用空气(或氧气)和少量的蒸汽将固体燃料(如煤或焦炭)在煤气发生炉中进行气化所产生的煤气。主要成分是氮(占50%以上)和一氧化碳,也含有氢和二氧化碳等。这种煤气热值较高。有时将氧气和蒸气在高压下吹入加压炉中,则所得煤气的热值更高。发生炉煤气用于炼钢炉、玻璃窑炉、炼焦炉等的加热,也用作锅炉等的燃料,或与水煤气混合作为制取合成氨、甲醇的原料气。
