【来源】
为鲤科动物鲮色的肉。
【动物形态】
鲮鱼 体长、侧扁，腹部圆，背部在背鳍前方稍隆起。体长约30厘米。头短，吻圆钝，吻长略大于眼径。眼侧位，眼间距宽。口下位，较小，呈弧形，上下颌角质化。须2对，吻须较明显，颌须短小。唇的边缘有多数小乳状突起，上唇边缘呈细波形，唇后沟中断。下咽齿3行。鳞中等大，侧线鳞38～41。背鳍Ⅲ12，无硬刺，其起点至尾基的距离大于至吻端的距离。臀鳍Ⅲ5。尾鳍分叉深。体上部青灰色，腹部银白，体侧在胸鳍基的后上方，有8～9个鳞片的基部具黑色斑块。幼鱼尾鳞基部有一黑色斑点。 栖于南方水温较高的河流内，以藻类及水底腐殖质为食。产卵期4～9月。冬季在河床深水处越冬。分布于珠江流域及海南岛。

《本草求原》："阴虚喘嗽忌之。"
