    形态特征: 百合科藜芦属多年生草本植物,高60-100厘米。茎粗壮。叶椭圆形,长20-25厘米,宽5-10厘米。圆锥花序,侧生总状花序为雄花,顶生花序具两性花,小花多数密生,花被片黑紫色。蒴果长1.5-2厘米。宽约1厘米,花期7-8月;果期8-9月。  
   生境分布:生于林缘、草甸或山坡林下。分布于我国东北、华北、陕甘南部、湖北、四川和贵州。亚洲北部及欧洲中部也有。  
   用途:根及根茎入药,能催吐、祛痰、杀虫,主治中风痰壅、癫痫、喉痹等;外用治疥癣、恶疮、杀虫蛆。
