    属棘蝶鱼科。体长30-40cm,卵圆形。体灰黑色,体表密布黄色圆点。嘴唇鲜黄色,眼睛后有一条黄色环带,背鳍前到臀鳍前端及背鳍中间到臀鳍中间各有一条黄色环带,尾柄有一条黄色环带。长大后,体表的黄色环带会自行消失。饲养水温27-28摄氏度,海水比重1.022-1.023,海水ph值8.0-8.5,海水硬度7-9度dh,饲料有冰冻鱼虾蟹肉、贝肉、海水鱼颗粒饲料等,喜欢啄食岩上的藻类、软珊瑚。
