With deeply studying of UG part parameter feature design and based on the current some CAD systems of automobile steering gear design,we develop a parameter feature design system—KBE system of product design by the use of MFC application and the secondary development tool of UG/OPEN API as well as ADO and OLE-DB technology.

By analyzing the noise mechanism of the auto auxiliary pump (model VP502), and using main frequency model theory and experimental data, the reason of excess noise of this kind vane pump is found out and some suggestions to improve it is also given.
