This article makes Musical ontology analysis of two Yugur folk songs,using comparative research method,exploring the differences,connections and origins of traditional folk songs and new folk songs,proposing the necessary technological means in practice as well as theory for the prosperity and development of Yugur folk songs from the dialectical relationship between inheritance and innovation.

In this article the author has probed into the relations between Chinese traditional folk songs and people\'s spiritual life from five aspects.

Investigations into the traditional folk songs in the Tujia rural villages along Qingjiang valley show that there are various categories of folk songs with rich contents and respective features.
