韩愈之，河南许昌人。中共党员。1938年毕业于抗日军政大学。历任抗大医院支部书记，抗大卫生处政治干事，西北文工团音乐组长，鲁艺音乐系学员，延安专署一科科员，陕甘宁边区政府办公厅秘书，中央政务院监察委员会党组秘书，国务院监察部主任监察专员，中国地质科学院党委副书记。1935年开始发表作品。1979年加入中国作家协会。著有长篇小说《刘志丹》，诗《谢了吧，枯草》，故事《刘志丹在桥山》等。
