缠足 中国古代女子幼时以布帛缠脚的习俗。始于五代。始见于陶宗仪《辍耕录·缠足》。该书所载李后主宫嫔窅娘以所缠的三寸之足始舞于莲中,所以人们又习惯地称女子小脚为三寸金莲。旧时汉族妇女多缠足。满族妇女不缠足,汉族人称她们的大脚为天足。满族统治者入主中原后,曾在康熙七年诏令禁止缠足,但因缠足积习太久,范围太广太大,加之旧时的封建礼教等多种原因,不久就解除了禁令。太平天国时,明令禁止缠足,但其影响极小,未能产生实效。直到辛亥革命后,有害于妇女身心健康的缠足才逐渐废除。 |
