| 吉兰泰盐池 在中国内蒙古自治区阿拉善左旗中部，乌兰布和沙漠西侧。唐代称温池，蒙古语叫察汗布鲁克池。海拔1031.8米，面积约120平方千米。盐颗粒大、质纯、味佳，因表层混有淡红色尘砂，俗称红盐，又称吉盐。开发历史悠久，清代以前所产之盐除供当地需要外 ，还畅销于陕、甘 及晋北一带。乾隆初年，红盐开始运销内地。湖底盐厚5～6米，原盐总储量达1.1亿吨，是中国内陆大型盐湖之一。除供食用外，一部分用于化工原料。 |
