【水陆斋】
(行事)于水陆有情,供养斋食之法会也。梁武帝始行于金山寺。释门正统四曰:“又有所谓水陆者:取诸仙致食于流水,鬼致食于净地之义。亦因武帝梦一神僧,告曰:六道四生受苦无量,何不作水陆普济群灵,诸功德中最为第一。帝问沙门,咸无知者。唯志公劝帝,广寻经论,必有因缘。于是搜寻贝叶,置法云殿,早夜披览。及详阿难遇面然鬼王,建立平等斛食之意,用制仪文,三年乃成。遂于润之金山寺修设,帝临地席,诏佑律师宣文。世涉周隋,玆文不传,至唐咸亨中,西京法海寺英禅师,因异人之告,得其科仪,遂再兴焉。我朝苏文忠公轼重述水陆法像赞,今谓之眉山水陆,供养上下八位者是也。熙宁中东川杨锷祖述旧规,又制仪文三卷行于蜀中,其最为近古。”
