(waterqualitymixturesample)将同一水质监测断面,而不同垂线、不同取样点的水样,按一定的权重混合起来的合成体。从点源排出的污水或有高浓度的支流来水流入江河后,总是随时间的推移而紊动扩散,呈现出浓度在断面上及垂在线的不均匀分布。因此,从断面上某一点采取的水样,不能表示河流受污染的真实状况。除了研究污染带内的污水浓度扩散需要监测断面上各点浓度分布之外,一般的环保研究课题都只要了解断面污染浓度的平均状态。取水质混合样就是通过水样混合而得平均状态的一种简便方法。
