| 译音 transcription of foreign pronunciation 用一种语言的音去传达另一种语言的音 。例如用汉字标记外语的发音，就属于译音。主要用于外国人名、地名和术语。由于使用者常受自己方言的影响，或选择汉字不同，因而译音词常不统一。为使译音规范化，中国编制了多种汉字译音表 。例如 ，中国地名委员会编的《外国地名译名手册》，附有英、法、德、西、俄、阿拉伯等语言与汉字的译音表。但由于汉字表音的局限性依然存在，译音表未能最后解决问题。用汉语拼音转写，会使译音准确一些，但还需克服许多语言上的障碍。 |
