本文通过考察德昂族村寨民居、服饰、饮食等文化现象,来描述德昂族生活习俗的特点、习俗的变迁及所受影响因素,并对这种变迁进行了一定的思考。

原称崩龙语。属南亚语系孟-高棉语族佤－德昂语支。在中国主要分布在云南省德宏傣族景颇族自治州以及临沧、保山、思茅等地区。使用人口 1万多(1982)。缅甸境内也有使用者。德昂语分为纳昂、布雷、若买 3个方言。以纳昂方言硝厂沟话为例，有辅音31个。鼻音有清化和不清化两套；塞音、塞擦音分清浊；复辅音比较丰富,如pl、phl、bl、kl、khl、ɡl、pr、phr、br、kr、khr、ɡr、mp、mph、mb、mpl、mphl、mbl、嬜妱、嬜h等。辅音都可以居于音节的开头，居于音节末尾的有p、 t、k、m、n、嬜、妱、h以及布雷方言的r等。有长短元音15个，但有的短元音只出现在极少数的词里，起区别词义的作用;有二合、三合复元音;元音后面还可以带辅音尾。词汇以单音节词根为基础。构词除了用词根复合法外,也有用词根加前加成分的,如ɡ╤i妱（跛）、aɡ╤i妱(跛子)。用语音变化表示词性，如dih(夯,动词)，ndih(夯,名词)。人称代词有单数、双数和复数的区别,以根词元音内部的屈折变化区分人称代词的双数与复数, 如妱ai(咱俩)、妱e（咱们）,尶ai(我俩)、尶e（我们）。修饰语一般在被修饰语之后。句子成分的基本次序是：主语－谓词－宾语。
