Poets in the prosperous and middle Tang Dynasty tried to reform regulated verses because of the obvious disadvantages of regulated verses and the distinction between pre-Tang poetry and regulated verses,therefore coming into existence the trend of replacing regulated verses with Pre-Tang poetry.
