In this paper, the author compared the content standards of the learning domain of "perceive and appreciation" of the music curriculum standards of China with the standards of America, then analyzed them and brought forward some advice on the basis of analysis and study, in order to improve our current music curriculum standards.

Music curriculum standards are not only the guidebook of the music teaching, a basis of writing teaching materials, evaluation and examination, but also a basis of management and evaluation of curriculum in our country.

The scene teaching and learning of music, cooperative teaching and learning of music, inquiry teaching and learning of music and creative teaching and learning of music, which are created in new music curriculum teaching by music teachers for the aim of the new curriculum reform, are four typical and general new methods.
