Through the analysis of the characteristics and determination of subjects in English and Chinese sentences,this paper,based on Chinese parataxis and topic-prominent nature,puts forward that it is more practical and reasonable to determine the subject in Chinese sentences by analyzing the topic-comment relationship instead of the traditional agent-object relationship.
比较了英语和汉语句子的主语特点,总结了前人关于如何确定汉语主语的研究,认为鉴于汉语的意合性以及话题显著等特点,与其用传统语法的施事-受事关系来分析确定汉语句子主语,还不如分析话题-说明关系更实用、更合理。
