But pollinated with other cultivars’ pollen,the fruits of red-fleshed sweet pomelo and Guanxi sweet pomelo could form many developed seeds or rud.
红肉蜜柚系选育于琯溪蜜柚园中的优变株系,其果实成熟期、汁胞呈色显著不同于琯溪蜜柚,而其它生物学特性则与琯溪蜜柚难于区别;两者混栽或人工授粉均表现不亲和性,而授两者以外品种花粉,果实均能形成大量发育或发育不完全的种子,同时,两者花粉形态特征相似;ITS-PCR扩增片段大小一致、条带单一,进一步证实两者亲缘关系相近,不存在种间、近缘属间差异。

蜜柚冻糕
材料：蜜柚500克、琼脂10克、白砂糖150克、水200毫升、蜂蜜适量
做法：
1.将蜜柚剥皮，取果肉部分，用搅拌机打碎；
2.琼脂加水泡至涨胖(2小时以上)，用大火煮至溶解，煮的过程中要不停地搅拌；
3.将白砂糖加入已融化的琼脂中，待糖融化，加入蜜柚汁，搅拌均匀，烧开后关火；
4.冷却1分钟后，将冻糕的液体倒入刷过油的模具中，待完全冷却后入冰箱冷藏，随吃随取，非常方便；
5.食用时，淋上蜂蜜，味道更加可口。
