LIU Lv,who lived in the early period of the Ming Dynasty but was an adherent of the Yuan Dynasty that had died out,compiled "Wing of Polite Letters"(a book talking about poems and poem techniques) in which he selected poems composed by XIE Ling-yun from Poetry Collection.
元末明初遗民刘履编有《风雅翼》,取《文选》中的谢灵运诗,对前人训释进行删补,断以己意。

作者在"正始之音"含义的理解上,坚持自己的看法;仍认为陈子昂《修竹篇序》中所说的"正始之音"是指风雅诗;仍认为曹丕是建安文坛的领袖。
