A new high range frequency agile radio fuse scheme is proposed,and the ideal of software radio is adopted in design,which make fuse possess the ability of software programmable and enhance the ability of anti-jamming.

In this paper,the factors,such as fragments initial velocity,the mass and shape of a single fragment,the blasting height,impact angle and terminal velocity of the projectile and so on,which affect the lethality of premade fragments were analyzed,and the conditions,which make the lethal area largest,were calculated,and the theoretic gist for optimum design of the projectile were provided.

It gives a quantitative relation among the specified burst height , initiation precision, operating reliability and ideal burst height of the fuze used in the intelligent fuze system.

As modern warfare requestes the high range of radio fuses, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of the high-bombing-range fuses, gives the high-bombing-range fuses block diagram of the system and some test results, describes its working principles of this high-bombing-range fuses, and analyses the reasones whice may cause ranging error, and so on.
