(1090～1142)
金代作家、书画家。字彦高，号东山。建州（今福建建瓯县）人。有文名，书法俊逸，绘画得其岳父米芾笔意。北宋钦宗靖康二年(1127)，奉命使金，金不遣返，命为翰林待制。曾出使朝鲜。金皇统二年(1142)出知深州（今河北深县），不久去世。
吴激诗今存20余首，题材不广,但工于写景,如“山侵平野高低树，水接晴空上下星”（《三衢夜泊》）；“地偏先日出，天迫众山攒”（《鸡林书事》）。他的《题宗之家初序潇湘图》、《岁暮江南四忆》等诗，含蓄地表达了乡国之思。

他的〔诉衷情〕
〔满庭芳〕“谁挽银河”等造语清婉，哀而不伤，在当时曾脍炙人口，其〔人月圆〕
括前人诗语，自然得体，尤为人所传诵：“南朝千古伤心事，犹唱《后庭花》。旧时王榭，堂前燕子，飞向谁家？恍然一梦，仙肌胜雪，宫髻堆鸦。江州司马，青衫泪湿，同是天涯！”这是为北宋被虏宫人写的一首词，宇文虚中（叔通）看后自愧不如，“是后人有求作乐府（词）者，叔通即批云：‘吴郎近以乐府名天下，可往求之’。”(《中州乐府》元好问注)其影响之大，于此可见。吴激原有《东山集》、《东山乐府》，已佚。存诗收入《中州集》，词收入《全金元词》。
