Sacred and desolate—architecture and carving art of Angkor;

WT5”BZ]Angkor,the capital of the Khmer Empire,is the quintessence of Khmer culture and art.

By means of geographical methods use, we try to describe and explain the architectural culture of Angkor: the geographical features of Angkor`s architectural culture were composed of three levels(substance, spirit and relation between nature and environment), which has the directly cause-effect relationship with social environment and natural environment.

And not only have these reports accumulated a lot of first-hand precious information in conservation and research on Angkor monuments,but also these compilation ways and management measures are great reference for Chinese which have been gradually building up recording system for architectural heritages.
