【达秦斯环氧酸醋缩合】(Darzensglycidicestercondensation)醛或酮类和`\alpha`-卤代酸酯在碱缩合剂(`C_2H_5ONa`、`NaNH_2`、金属钠粉末或叔丁醇钾)存在下反应得环氧酸酯(即缩水甘油酸酯)。后者经皂化成相应的环氧酸,再经酸催化脱羧重排生成醛酮的反应。由达秦斯首创。例如:由苯乙酮和氯乙酸乙醋合成3-苯基-2,3-环氧丁酸乙酯及2-苯基丙醛。
