| 刚度 stiffness 受外力作用的材料、构件或结构抵抗变形的能力。材料的刚度由使其产生单位变形所需的外力值来量度。各向同性材料的刚度取决于它的弹性模量E和剪切模量G(见胡克定律)。结构的刚度除取决于组成材料的刚度外，还同其几何形状、边界条件等因素以及外力的作用形式有关。分析材料和结构的刚度是工程设计中的一项重要工作。对于一些须严格限制变形的结构（如机翼、高精度的装配件等），须通过刚度分析来控制变形。许多结构（如建筑物、机械等）也要通过控制刚度以防止发生振动、颤振或失稳。另外，如弹簧秤、环式测力计等，须通过控制其刚度为某一合理值以确保其特定功能。在结构力学的位移法分析中，为确定结构的变形和应力，通常也要分析其各部分的刚度。 |
