Study on contact stiffness factor selection method in contact non-linear simulation

Based on truing model of saucer diamond-grinding wheel with cup wheel, the influence of contact stiffness between saucer wheel and cup wheel on the stability of the grinding system and grinding force was discussed, as well as verifying of the signal characteristic and changing rule of grinding force.

Based on the theoretical analysis on some current connecting materials between the ship main engine and its base, the author holds that, in installing main engine of the same type, the casting epoxy shim shows the maximum contact rigidity, and the integral rectangular shim would be the next and the adjusting shim appears to be the minimum, which is not adopted to general circumstance.

With an introduction to the main characteristics of flexible catenary and rigid catenary as well as their utilization in some foreign countries, the author argues that China shall lay stress on the development of overhead rigid catenary, because the present condition is very favorable for domestic production.
