为菊科植物糙叶斑鸠菊的根。
【植物形态】
糙叶斑鸠菊 一年生直立草本，高60～100厘米，密被柔毛，少分枝，叶互生，有短柄；椭圆状披针形，长3.5～8厘米，宽1～3厘米，先端渐尖，基部楔形，边缘有锐锯齿，两面密被柔毛。头状花序多数，排列成具叶的圆锥花序；每小柄上具头状花序1对；总苞筒状，苞片3～4列。紫红色，外层的极短；花全为管状，淡紫色；冠毛白色。 生于草坡。分布云南、贵州、广东等地。

秋季采集。
【性味】
辛甘，温。
【功用主治】
发表散寒。治风寒感冒。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，3～5钱。
