【来源】
为卷柏科植物江南卷柏Selaginella moellendorfii Hieron.的全草。
【植物形态】
多年生常绿草本，高达40cm。主茎直立，禾杆色，下部不分枝，有卵状三角形叶，疏生；上部3～4回分枝，分枝上叶二形，背腹各2列，腹叶（中叶） 疏生。斜卵圆形，锐尖头，基部心形，边缘膜质白色，有微齿，背叶（侧叶）斜展，覆瓦太，长0.3～0.6cm，单生枝顶；孢子叶卵状三角形，龙骨状，边缘有齿。孢子期8～10月。 生于林下或溪边。分布于长江以南各地、北至陕西南部。
【采制】
夏、秋季采收全草。
【化学成分】
含两种醛类成分，另有酚性、酸性及中性物质。
【性味】
性平，味微甘。
【功能主治】
清热利尿，活血消肿。用于急性传染性肝炎、胸胁腰部挫伤、全身浮肿、血小板减少。
