卷柏目 Selaginellales 石松植物门的一目。通常具有细长匍匐茎,向上长出分枝,或仅具有直立茎。叶小,具叶舌 ,4 行交互对生,侧叶(或称背叶)较大,生于背面,2行,水平开展,中叶 (或称腹叶)较小,生于枝的腹面,直指向上。孢子叶通常集聚在枝顶形成孢子叶球,孢子异型。只有1科,卷柏属1属始现于二叠纪,现代约有700种 ,广布全世界 ,以热带为最多,生长于阴湿的林下或林边,少数生于干旱环境,中国约有50种,较常见的是卷柏,又称万年青,还魂草,缺水时,枝叶收缩拳卷,有水则又舒展。可作盆景栽培;全草入药,为收敛止血剂;翠云草也是较为常见的卷柏类植物,其主茎匍匐状蔓生于林下湿地或洞口的岩壁上,叶片表面呈美丽的蓝绿色光彩。广布于长江以南各省区。全草入药,有清热解毒、去湿利尿、消炎、止血之效。
