| 金伯利 Kimberley 南非开普省城市。位于中部高原，海拔1220米。人口约15.8万。周围以埋藏富含金刚石的角砾云母橄榄岩管状矿体著称。城市随着金刚石矿的发现始建于1870年。1878年设市。尽管英布战争给金刚石矿业带来了严重的破坏，但重建后，发展迅速，已成为世界闻名的装饰用金刚石产地。该城附近开采铁、岩盐和石膏。除金刚石加工业外，还有机械 、车辆装配、食品等工业。当地灌溉农业和养畜业发达，是开普省北部农产品集散中心。铁路干线西南通开普敦，东北达约翰内斯堡和比勒陀利亚。市内保留了著名的亚历山大麦克雷戈纪念博物馆，达银- 克罗宁班图人美术馆和英国圣公会教堂等建筑物，还有一个直径约500米、平均深400米的世界最大的金刚石矿穴，成为旅游者参观的重点景地。
