By coupling 5-NH 2/3-Tex terminus modified single stranded DNA probes on the surfaces of 300 μm ZrO 2 ceramic beads through N-(4-maleimidobutyryloxy)-sulfosuccininimide (Sulfo-GMBS), fluorescent ceramic beads were prepared.

The microarray features of 5 - NH2/3 - Texas red terminus modified deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) probes on the surfaces of 300 μm ZrO2 ceramic beads were characterized through the coupling reaction of the probes with N(4-maleimidobutyrvloxy) sulfosuccininimide sodium salt (sulfo-GMBS).
