【性状】

卷柏本品卷缩似拳状，长3～10cm。枝丛生，扁而有分枝，绿色或棕黄色，向内卷曲，枝上密生鳞片状小叶，叶先端具长芒，中叶（腹叶）两行，卵状矩圆形，斜向上排列，叶缘膜质，有不整齐的细锯齿。背叶（侧叶）背面的膜质边缘常呈棕黑色。基部残留棕色至棕褐色须根，散生或聚生成短干状。质脆，易折断。无臭，味淡。垫状卷柏须根多散生。中叶（腹叶）两行，卵状披针形，直向上排列。叶片左右两侧不等，内缘较平直,外缘常因内折而加厚，呈全缘状。

【鉴别】

取本品粉末2g，加甲醇50ml，加热回流1小时，滤过，滤液蒸干，残渣加无水乙醇3ml使溶解，作为供试品溶液。另取卷柏对照药材2g，同法制成对照药材溶液。照薄层色谱法（附录Ⅵ B）试验，吸取上述两种溶液各3μl，分别点于同一以羧甲基纤维素钠为黏合剂的硅胶G薄层板上，以异丙醇-浓氨试液-水（13：1：1）为展开剂，展开，取出，晾干，喷以2%三氯化铝甲醇溶液，置紫外光灯（365nm）下检视。供试品色谱中，在与对照药材色谱相应的位置上，显相同颜色的荧光斑点。

【炮制】

卷柏除去残留须根及杂质，洗净，切段，晒干。卷柏炭取净卷柏，照炒炭法（附录Ⅱ D）炒至表面显焦黑色。

【性味与归经】

辛，平。归肝、心经。

【功能与主治】

活血通经。用于经闭痛经。{徵}瘕痞块，跌扑损伤。卷柏炭化瘀止血。用于吐血，崩漏，便血，脱肛。

【用法与用量】

4.5 ～9g。

【注意】

孕妇慎用。

【贮藏】

置干燥处。
