葡萄牙著名历史城堡。位于里斯本东南部面临大西洋岸边的山崖上。城堡居高临下，三面峭壁，十分险要。建于公元12世纪。罗马军队占领该地后将其改建为罗马式城堡。摩尔人入侵后，又改筑成摩尔式城堡。城堡采用摩尔人的建造方法，全部用石块筑成，有胸墙，并用步廊连接，具有实战意义。1147年莱昂国王阿丰索一世夺取里斯本，建立葡萄牙王国后，加固了城堡，使其成为保卫里斯本的重要要塞。后为纪念1386年在攻占里斯本战役中与英国结成的联盟，将城堡命名为"圣若热城堡"。城堡十分坚固，炮台上仍放置有当年使用的大炮。城堡内设一巨型斜台,镶嵌着巨幅里斯本瓷砖风景画。城堡内还设有动物园和植物园。
