为禾本科植物粟感染禾指梗霉而生糠秕的病穗。
【采集】
秋季收割粟米时采收，晒干。
【药材】
病穗呈貂尾状。花颖发展成畸形叶状体，大多不实或间有少数子粒。用手搓时可散落棕色粉末状的卵孢子。 华北、东北、西北等种植粟米的地区常有发现。
【性味】
咸，微寒。
【功用主治】
清湿热，利小便，止痢。治尿道炎，痢疾，浮肿，小便不利。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，3～5钱。
【选方】
①治尿道炎，小便涩痛：糠谷老五钱，水煎服。 ②治体虚浮肿、心烦、口渴、小便少：糠谷老五钱，水煎服。
