性质:有金属光泽暗绿色的颗粒或粉末。易溶于水,水溶液呈绿色;溶于醇呈蓝绿色;溶于甘油、乙二醇。耐光性,耐热性强。对柠檬酸、酒石酸稳定,对碱不稳定。

制备方法:使对羟基苯甲醛与N-乙基-N-苯基苄胺的缩合物磺化后,用重铬酸钠或过氧化铅氧化,生成物用硫酸钠或氯化钠盐析,再进一步精制而得。

用途:用作食品、医药和化妆品色素。与其他食用色素配合使用在糕点和清凉饮料等食品中,使用量为1-20万分之一。按日本《食品添加物公定书》规定,该品含量应在85%以上。
