性质: 蓝色固体。斜方或六角形晶体。相对密度3.05(25℃),莫氏硬度9~10。熔点2150~2200℃(4.357×l05Pa)。2000℃升华。可被水分解成氢氧化铝和氨。在潮湿空气中可闻到氨气味。在酸和碱中亦会分解。工业上用铝土矿与煤、氮气反应制得。实验室中用铝粉在氮气流中加热制备。用作半导体材料和用于炼钢中,还是六方氮化硼转变为立方氮化硼的有效催化剂。
