BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Hainan Airlines, which owns the ship’s operating company, HNA Tourism, says the Court in Jeju overstepped its power.

At a press conference on Sunday, Hainan Airlines president Zhang Ling strongly criticized the court and called for an apology and compensation for passengers. He also called the Henna to be immediately released.

Hainan Airlines has already agreed to offer the stranded passengers cash or free travel as compensation.
