BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- A team of CCTV reporters are now on their way to the hardest hit city of Tacloban. On the ferry to the island of Leyte where the city is located, they met rescuers from the Philippines and abroad. The rescue workers shared with us their latest work and plans for relief efforts.
"Those who need food, emergency aid, blankets, we are planning, emergency and rescue, are planning a long time staying in Tacloban, maybe two months, or three months," Turkish rescue worker Anhang Chelity said.
"Yes, we brought a lot of medicine equipment with us, and so we will have enough material for two or three days, but tomorrow will come a big luggage with different things WHO kits , so we can help thousands of people in the next weeks," German rescue worker Wolfgang Mulbrot said.
