BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Everyday communications between Italian citizens are also reportedly on the NSA’s watch list. According to a report from n television network RT, the NSA collected data on 46 million telephone calls from across Italy from December 10th, 2012 to January 8th, 2013.
Meanwhile, an Italian weekly said the US also monitored Italy’s tele-communications network, as well as its government and business offices. Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta has condemned the alleged US spying activity, saying it was unbelievable and unacceptable.
