WASHINGTON, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- The United States will "make its own decision" on its own timeline in response to a sarin gas attack in Syria for which an American intelligence assessment pinned the blame on the Syrian government, Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday.

"President (Barack) Obama will ensure that the United States of America makes our own decisions on our own timelines, based on our values and our interest," Kerry said in a televised statement on Syria at the State Department.  Full story
